First Day on the Blog

So, in case you noticed... yea, my blog is named after a Bath and Body lotion. A really good lotion, with a cool name. Don't judge me.

Anyway, I'm not even sure why I wanted to start a blog. Maybe I just don't have enough to do between the massive amounts of reading I do for college (comes with the English major territory, I guess), all my homework assignments, and my weekend job. Ah well, I can find time for this. It's not like I have to write a certain amount each time or anything.

I really should be doing some of that aforementioned homework, by the way. I have a paper due next Friday that I haven't started yet, and is going to take a lot of thought. I also have a Shakespeare commentary due Thursday that I haven't started yet either. Blah. I mean, I love Othello but I'm tired of writing all these commentaries. I just want to enjoy the play. What happened to just enjoying something because it's freaking awesome? People always have to assign things to go with it anymore. Girl can't just enjoy her Shakespeare. Corrupt system of education. I could go on with all the assignments that I should be doing, but I'm not feeling it anymore. I'm actually just feeling hungry now. Food time soon though.

Sigh. I think I know why I started this blog. I am beset with writers block. And it is effectively blocking my current novel that I'm working on, and I'm frustrated. I tried to start another short story, just something for fun, and I can't even do that. All I can do is write boring papers for my classes, which I guess is lucky. I guess. But I wanna know what happens next! Arg! I'm just going to go now. Food time anyway. More coming later.
